If your site already runs Google Tag Manager, you can add Pendling there, without touching the site's code.

With the Pendling tag template

  1. In Tag Manager, Tags → New → Tag configuration → Discover more tag types in the Community Template Gallery, search for Pendling, and Add to workspace.
  2. Paste your Site key (in the dashboard under Install; it starts with pk_).
  3. Triggering: All Pages. Save, Preview to check, then Submit.

Optional, under Your shop: the kind of page and the cart (total, items, currency) from your data layer variables. Campaigns shown only on some kinds of page, and cart reminders, use them. Shopify and WooCommerce don't need this.

Or with a Custom HTML tag

Until the template is in the gallery (it's in review), use Tags → New → Custom HTML with your line from Install, and the All Pages trigger.

Your line<script src="https://app.pendling.app/v1/pendling.js" async data-site="YOUR-SITE-KEY"></script>

Tip: with consent mode, Pendling itself sets no cookies. Its events to your ad and analytics tools follow the consent settings on the Pixels & events page.
